Chile Deaf Rugby vs Chunchos

– Tall Grass –

We we finally arrived to the field, we noticed something that no one hada bit different about the field. The grass was supper tall. So tall, we could not event walk on it. The maintenance guy got the riding mower out and starting cutting the grass. Even though the guy cut the entire field two to three times, the grass was still a bit tall. However, we had already lost about one to two hours so we decided to play.

– The Game –

I can’t remember too much because I am recalling this game eight years after the fact. However, I do remember that it was not only difficult to run due to the thick grass, the grass cut up our skin during rucks and tackles. It is what it is, but it was a different experience for sure. Unfortunately, we lost the game.
